Michele Sexton is a versatile singer-actor-entertainer-model who is at home on the musical theater, opera, and concert stage as well as in front of the camera. Possessing a wide vocal and acting range, Michele moves from operatic grande dames and musical theater leading ladies to intriguing character roles with ease. In 2015, Michele will join Hawaii Opera Theater as the Beggar Woman in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd, a role for which she garnered critical praise in the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival production in 2012, where she shared the stage with Broadway veterans, Dee Roscioli (Wicked) and William Michals (South Pacific, Les Mis). In 2013, Michele was the female soloist in program of Broadway favorites on a six week tour of China with the Hollywood Concert Orchestra, playing in some of China’s largest venues. Michele has appeared in concert with William Michals in their duet show; “It’s A grand Night for Singing” as well as her own show; “From Puccini to Broadway and Beyond”.  Michele has also taken the stage as a soloist with The Festival Orchestra of the Atlantic, The New Jersey Pops Orchestra, and the Garden State Symphonic Band. Favorite musical theater roles include Lily Vanessi (Kiss me Kate), Lily (Secret Garden), Desiree (A Little Night Music), Anna (King and I) and Mother (A Christmas Story-The Musical).  Michele holds a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and is a former Miss Jersey and a Top Ten finalist at the Miss America Pageant.
