Carson Gregory Tate |
Carson Tate is a singer and actor from Overland Park, Kansas. He
has been performing for the past 10 years, beginning with local community
theater when he was just 13 years old. He uses his talent as a performer
to express himself artistically and transport audiences to different times
and places as a means for them to escape the stresses of their everyday lives.
He’s passionate about his career because he loves the positive emotional
impact it has on others and is determined to succeed. Carson received vocal
training from Alan Held and Samuel Ramey at Wichita State University and
performed in several operas including Gianni Schicchi and Street Scene. In
2017 he won the Tabor College Music Festival Award in the Musical Theatre
Category. Carson is committed to continuing his vocal training outside of
school and is focused on continuously improving his instrument. Over the
years, Carson has appeared in many theatrical productions; however, he’s
proudest of his role as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at Herschend Family
Entertainment. Some of his other credits include Something Rotten, The Drowsy
Chaperone, Songs for a New World, and The SpongeBob Musical. When he isn’t
performing on stage, Carson also enjoys playing piano and guitar to relax
his soul. 1/23 |
