Keith Harrison has been working as a performer, music director, composer, orchestrator and writer since graduating from Northwestern University in 2007. He has been seen around the country, and extensively in Chicagoland at The Goodman Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Court Theatre, The Apollo Theater, Bailiwick Repertory, and others. As pianist and orchestrator, he has recently worked with Lauren Kennedy on her CD release concert (Here and Now); with former Styx-frontman, Dennis DeYoung, on The Hunchback of Notre Dame; and Heather Headley for her solo concert as part of the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Festival. You have probably heard music of his playing in television and radio advertisements here and there. Keith is currently a member of the Chicago company of the hit rock 'n roll musical, Million Dollar Quartet. His work in Chicago theatre has garnered five Joseph Jefferson Award nominations and one win for The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Keith is also a prolific singer/songwriter whose crossover EP, Side A, can be found on iTunes, along with his politico-satire single Bla-Go, which won the Chicago RedEye's Blagojevich songwriting contest. He is currently working on his debut solo LP. 11/24/09 |
