Trevor James is a recent grad of NYU Steinhardt's vocal performance/musical theater program. Born and raised in Allentown, PA (yes, like 42nd Street), he received his bachelors of music in Vocal Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia. While attending Temple, he was involved in both opera and musical theater productions (including a stint in which he was doing a Czech opera and RENT at the same time!). Upon moving to New York two years ago, he decided to focus solely on his first love of musical theater. Roles at NYU include Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Angel City Four Tenor (jazz voice quartet) in City of Angels, and featured solo roles in the ensemble based Beguiled Again and Oh, What A Lovely War. Regionally, he's been featured as Frederick in Pirates of Penzance (Maples Repertory Theater), Dean Hyde in All Shook Up (Pines Dinner Theater), and Jacey Squires in The Music Man (Shawnee Playhouse). Additionally, Trevor serves as an adjunct professor of voice at NYU Steinhardt.
